Mushroom cultivator here, been doing this for 4 years now and have tried everytbing from zeedix to myco coco (mushroom coco simulated specifically for mushroom growth), and everything falls short of thunder acres. By far the best hydration, almost immediate when using boiling water. Definitely getting your bang for you buck when shopping here, have not had better success with any other coco provider. GO THUNDER ACRES!!!!

Block is very small which doesn’t show as you advertise

Thunder Acres coco coir bricks work fantastic. I place the coir brick in a 5 gallon bucket and add a gallon of spring water. The coir absorbs all the water and expands approximately half of the bucket volume. I mix the coir 50/50 with garden soil, add some perlite and vermiculite, to make my own planting soil mix.

Premium coir with high absorption when hydrating, gives you a nice fluffy product. I love that I can buy in bulk and get it cheaper than Amazon.
