The texture is perfect. Love using a natural fiber instead of plastic or petroleum product. We will never go back to poly fill!

I’m happy to have found an alternative to polyester fiberfill for stuffed animals.

My grandchildren wanted to do a sewing project and decided to make pillows. I wanted to use an organic cotton batting/stuffing instead of the polyester stuffing to avoid the possibility of exposure to VOCs or other toxic chemicals. The pillows are a bit lumpy, but still comfortable. We didn't fluff the batting as much as I would have liked, but we had a lot of fun making the pillows.

This filler was exactly what I was looking for to make two 20 x 20 throw pillows. I ordered 10 lbs and it was definitely much more than enough. There’s small bits of plant material in the cotton, but for pillow stuffing it doesn’t matter at all.

Exactly what I was looking for! It’s the first time I’ve used raw cotton instead of Polyfil to stuff homemade stuffed animals and it’s a little denser and a little heavier then Polyfil which I like. And, there are no microplastics flying through the air when I stuff the toys!
